I was wondering if anyone knows if the dealer can change the settings on the xD so that if the door is open that you are allowed to hit the lock door button on the remote to lock the doors? By default, it does not allow this and sends a warning tone. Does anyone know this?

 

I agree this can be a pain if you are unloading the car and will not have a free hand to lock the car once the doors are closed. Some cars handle this better, and allow the remote's lock button to be pressed with open doors and arms the alarm once the last door is closed.
