Default Looking for 2012 XD fog light

Hi guys,

I am new to here and just got 2012 xd. I found the manufacture headlight is not bright enough. Since this is a Canada car, it must has a daytime running light by law. Therefore I found the day time running light and high beam light are using the same bulb. The actually the head light is a small bulb that added under the main bulb. If I am going to change to HID, I will lost the high beam light. So my question is:
1. can I get a oem hid fog light kit that can suit for my bump without extra cutting ?
2. If no OEM fog light, can I get a OEM headlight kit that can separate high beam light and night light.

Need your guys help.

Thank you

yep. count me one if you guys have the play. By the way, if I want to change to HID. Is there a aftermarket headlight kit in order to let me separate the two bulb?

Thx

yeah that will work. only prob is that with our headlight housing it scatters the light when you put hids in cause its not a projector housing. here a recent thread on it- https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...69#post4000169

Totally agree. It doesn't make sense, only XD don't have the parts. TC and XB even IQ has the fog light.

Honestly, our housings are pretty well laid out. They have a nice cutoff so HIDs don't just blind everyone in front of you. When I did HIDs in my wife's xD there wasn't any scatter. Maybe I got lucky...

You can try a bi-xenon kit which allows you to use the HIDs as high-beams, as well. I'd recommend staying away from ebay sellers and sticking with a more known seller such as HIDextra or MOD Express.

Hey guys, I just got a the HID that low beam and high beam both are HID too. After I installed it there is no scatter and working fine. Maybe you guys can try. Also it is really easy to install because the relay circuit has been included into the kit too.
