not really that low.... i drive my xb tucking tire 2 inches off the ground.. but then again im here in cali... we have ok roads for the most part.... we will see once my kit and coils get here from jp... how low we can drive it here

 

Trust me its low. He's running on Tanabe DF 20's

 

remember, it takes a lot to make a xD low. I can still go a couple inches lower and not hit the tires on the fenders despite I already have the TRD stuff.

 

yah im on df210 right now its not really that low.... wait till my coils come : ) its gonna slammed sick status... rofl...

 

wow nice find jim. that's one clean xd. but yeah my coils are like almost 3" lower in the back and just over 2" in the front with no rubbing.

He actually can't go any lower. Due to the offset of the wheels, he already has slight rubbing issues with 35 tires and rolled fenders.

Never understood the whole "lowering just to look cool" concept. Intentionally limiting the functionality of a vehicle for nothing more than cosmetic appeal contradicts every reason I bought this kind of car. I got it to do more with less. Pimping an xD by lowering it is just a waste of money that could have been used to make this little vehicle another example of doing more with less. It is a nice car. This person obviously has pride of ownership and has put in effort and money to make it "cool and pretty". But, for me, it's about getting the maximum usefulness out of my xD. Hauling a canoe on the roof rack, hauling bikes, going places and living an active lifestyle. The "sick" wheels an lower profile are dollars that could have been spent on things to equip it to do more instead of less...I guess is all I'm trying to say.

 

i bought my xD cuz I needed a car to haul around the family. and I did some things to it to make it look nice. theres nothing wrong with taking a functional car and making it look good and keep it's functionality.

 

that's what my xb is for. lol. i guess it's all perception too. so when you go out to the store do you change clothes to make your self look good? or you just wear what you are wearing at the time?
