So the winds got pretty bad here recently and somehow this guy popped out and dragged for a few miles under my car... my mechanic thinks it may be a temp sensor for the AC but I cant see exactly where it should go/what its for in the manual any thoughts?

 

Might be the airbag sensor.....

 

I took the part out again, its just a temperature sensor thankfully. The backside had teh actual part number.
