- Two cables, an iPod cable and a mini-jack cable.
- Owner's manual/first aid kit.
- Make sure you get the radio manual, too.
- Two remote keys and a valet key.
- A mountain of paperwork.
- Voucher for your first two free oil changes.

 

Make sure you get the key code for your keys, in case you ever need to have a new one made. It's typically noted on a little aluminum tag stamped with some numbers that's attached to the keyring.

It will come with your choice of hubcaps and the base radio as well, unless you opt to upgrade either of them.

Don't forget that there are a ton of accessories you can get installed at the dealer too. so make sure to look through scion.com first and choose what you want on the car, that way every thing can be wrapped into the loan.

 

thanks for the info, perfect! I should have been clearer that I am picking this 2008 up as certified used. Its a toyota fleet vehicle -purchasing from a scion dealer.

It already has the upgraded 18" wheels, upgraded stereo, and rear spoiler. Since its used, I wanted to make sure there were the proper cables, keys, manuals, and anything else included that should be.

BTW, those look like the 16" alloys, not 18".

 

Preowned is a little different, but you still get a FULL tank of gas on Certified. other than that the owners manual and a key. Dealers are subject to what the customer has turned with the vehicle and not all the time retain all the same equipment as new.

Yeah I agree. I bought mine pre-owned and luckily I was able to get both remote keys, but my dealer had to ask the previous owner for one of them. I didn't get the aux/ipod cables, nor did I get the floor mats for the back seats.

Luckily though, the guy that sold me the xD was a pretty cool guy and gave me all of those things for free

 

Thanks for the great answers. Agreed on the likelihood of missing some items on used, but since this is a scion dealer I figured I could use them as negotiating points. Luckily it has all 3 keys, two manuals, and the ipod pigtail. My wife picks up the new ride tomorrow.
