Default Plastidip tryout and question

I did my RS 4.0 wheels and back emblems today. Not sure if I like them this way, might be a little too ghetto and the wheel style itself is not my favorite. One thing I noticed is that in a few corners of the wheels the plastidip seems to have come away from the surface. What would cause this? It's my first attempt at it and every wheel seems to have a few places where this happened. So, if I want to keep the look I will have to redo them. I might just get the black Platinum Marathon wheels I've wanted in the last photo.

Not entirely sure what would cause the plastidip to come off the wheels in the corners unless there was some dirt you didn't quite get. I love plastidip, did my mustache and side view mirrors with it. Wheels looks nice, but personally I like something that stands out a little more, and with white you can do almost any color for your wheels and it wont look bad. The marathons looks nice, and you can use your stock tires.

I found out it was probably moisture or applying it too thick too quick - or both. Apparently they make a predip spray that prevents this. Too bad I wasn't aware of it before I did them. LOL I might try a different plastidip color, maybe white.

white would be good. you can also pick up the plastidip kit from home depot, where you can mix it to whatever color you want.
