For my taste, the black car on the previous page is as close to perfection as it gets. But like I said, it's my wife's car. I didn't tell her when I lovered it and she asked me the very next day - why does it rides so bad ? So the red TRD springs to appear on ebay soon ))
Let me know if you see the pics of not lowered xD with the lip kit anywhere.
Thanks !

You could use this argument too: Just tell her that the slightly stiffer ride is a trade off for better emergency handling. Chicks dig saftey.
She'd get used to the ride, though. The TRDs are not all that harsh. You just made the mistake of letting her drive the car stock.

Tanabe NF's are about the same drop as the TRD's but unlike TRD's they get some mixed reviews. No drop will ride better than stock. Shorter springs= stiffer ride. There's a tradeoff between better handling and the ride comfort. I actually agree on this one with my wife. This car is not a race car, so there's no point to sacrifice the comfort. Considering that even the stock suspension on xD is not the softest one.
And I really like the way it looks just with 17" or 18" wheels. I'm curious how would it look with some ground FX's without a drop ...

Well, I didn't think the TRD springs were that stiff, but I can see where you're coming from. You wouldn't last a day in my car.
As far as the kit goes, I think the Fiveaxis lip kit would look a little funky without a drop, but not too terrible.

Wow ! I just looked at your car. You've done the whole thing to the suspension. I'd actually really like to test drive it. On the track it is.
On the kit - that's what I'm affraid of - "not too terrible" )) Doesn't sound good enough to justify a $1500 drop ! )))
I'll have to find some Photoshop wizard ...

TRD sway bar. I had it lowered with the TRD springs, but took them off - the ride was too harsh. I love the look of the moderately lowered car BUT if that means my butt will feel every little imperfection of the road I say it's not worth it. It ain't no Ferrari we're talkin about here ))

Tire look
I do like the larger rear to smaller front look. Maybe its just my taste!!
it doesnt affect the Antilocks at all, since the variance isn't actually that much.
the grill has small aluminum "twisties" that hold it to the black "regular" grill that comes standard. On the bottom corners, you have to drill 1/8 inch holes to secure them.
The pic was take from an office building
