Premium Sound System Problem
So first off I cannot figure out how to navigate my iPod. When I plug it in all I have is an alphabetical list of songs to scroll through. 1-500 is not very convienent. How does one choose and album or artist, can this even be done?
Second... I downloaded the custom picture and movie maker software. Created my file, burned it to a disk and put it into my deck. I then went in to the screen customization menu and tried to load my customs screens and movies and it would not work. Kept seeing the screen, "Refer to your manual". Well the dealership didnt give me a manual. When I called them about it they told me there is a problem with Pioneer and they have not been sending the stereos with manuals. That sounds like some BS answer. Either way can someone help me out here? Thanks

I am assuming this is the stock stereo that you got with the car? I didn't know that you could change the pictures on there... or that there were even pictures on the damn thing. I haven't seen much of the new stuff.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of ipod are you using? Nano? Regular? What?

I didn't get my owners manual with my premium stereo and it took me a day to figure out how to navigate through the ipod...You have to press and hold the multi-function button in the center until the radio beeps and then you can scroll through the playlists, artists, songs, etc.
Also, if you want direct control from the ipod itself and not the head unit, turn the head unit off first, press the menu button down for a few seconds and then a series of options will pull up, subwoofer, display lighting, and there is the direct control for the ipod, switch it to on then hit the escape button. Turn the head unit back on and you can control the ipod from itself.
Hope this helps.

I did finally get my owners manual, but I have not uploaded any custom images yet...When I get home from work today, I'll take a look at it to see how it is done...As I recall there are two buttons on the radio you have to hold down then turn it on to enter into the upload mode, but I have to find out which ones they are unless someone here knows?
i have mine installed on 2008 Tc, found out the display screen was only display in black and white color? is that normal? i checked on Scion site, and Accessories booklet, they both showing this system had color display screen, can someone clarify that for me pls, thanks
