Rainwater in vents!!
I'm assuming that there is a drain line somewhere that is plugged, but I don't know where any are. If I take out the lower panel on the passengers side and then remove the fan I can get the water to drain out rather quickly, but any time it rains it gets filled up again.
Should I be taking apart the grill under the window looking for some blockage there, or go at it from the bottom of the car looking for a clogged or pinched drain hose? With a good rain sometimes I will drain several quarts of water out of the vents.
I've also had it on the recirculating air setting since I saw the problem and it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

really depends on the dealership. there are good ones and bad ones. anyway, kudos on putting on 51 k mile on a car that can only be 2 years old at most. knock on wood, i'm at 74k and don't have water coming in through the vents.
I wonder if mine has the same problem. Even after a light rain the car seems a bit musty smelling on the inside. Next time I go to a car wash I'll see if I notice a difference.
Every now and then there was a musty smell, but I couldn't pin why it was happening randomly, but it might have been associated with the rain...
