Replacing HU with the same brand?

Replacing HU with the same brand?
Hi all,
I have 2012 xD, when I purchased it I upgrade the stock HU to Pioneer Premium HU which the dealer did it for me. Now I want to upgrade the HU with Pioneer AVIC-X950BH. My question is.
If I replace the HU with the same brand (Pioneer) will I keep the Steering wheel control, USB/Ipod, AUX connection without modification?
Do I need to intall adapter (interface) or just plug and play?
any comments/ideas?
