Default Scratched front bumper

Hi there

I was just washing my less than 2 week old XD when the hose with some grass accidentally brushed against the front bumper and put about 4 long scratches in the bumper.
Has anyone had this experience of easy scratching?

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks

Uh... that grass must be super sharp to have made scratches in the paint. Are you sure you didn't notice the scratches only after washing the car?

No..I looked immediately after the hose scraped the front bumper. I kind of watched it happen.

Your best bet is to just try some Scratch Removal. I like Meguires scratchX. You put it on a foam pad and rub it into the scratches. Crosswise, if that makes sense and with some force.

The car overall scratches very easily. I have scratches on my front bumper because I scraped some bush branches when parking. Also have scratches from trying to remove dried on bird droppings from my door. My car is gray, but I'll definitely go with a lighter color when I upgrade.

Polishing compound will remove light surface scratches - trust me use it.
