Default Squeak - A.K.A. wow, tough plastic

I was woken up at 12:30 this afternoon (I work 3rd shift) to my mom freaking out -- trying to back out of the driveway, she'd wedged the back fender of her Prizm into the back fender of my xD. She didn't want to move her car for fear of damaging things worse ...

Once I moved the cars, it appeared I had a fair bit of scratching on my fender and a baseball-sized dent. I got things calmed down and went back to bed, figuring I'd pop it out later.

Sun on a black car does wonders. By the time I woke up again Dad was home from work and had put my car in the garage to touch it up. The warm sun had popped the dent out all by itself, and most of what appeared to be paint scratches just washed off -- it was not my paint, it had rubbed off of the Prizm. After some touch-up you really have to look hard to find where the xD was scraped.

The Prizm, on the other hand, had lost a significant amount of paint and the sheet metal underneath the gas cap was creased. How a plastic fender puts a crease in a metal quarter panel without seriously damaging the plastic I'm not sure ... but I'm definitely pleased with my tough little buggy
