Tire Pressure light on after I put on spare!
Had tire damage on rear passenger side Sunday. Firestone/Bridgestone has to special order the tire because its a new brand, hopefully will arrive by end of the week. The spare is on but the Tire Pressue light is still on! Checked the tire pressure on the spare and the other tires just to be safe and the light is still on!
Is this normal and the pressure light on because of the spare not being the regular tire? Anyone?

Thank you my friend for the information, I had no idea about the location of the pressure sensor. You'll have to forgive me, my last car was a '92 Corolla, when I had tire troubles I'd just slap on a cheapo Hankook and off I'd go!
Can you believe this single "new brand" Bridgestone tire costs $169?! I only have 950 miles on the xD, so Firestone/Bridgestone offered Road Hazard protection on all 4 tires for $78 and will discount the new tire when it arrives on-hopefully-Thursday.
I love this site, quick answers from helpful people. Thanks again!
