Default Towing With an xD?

Anyone done it? I have a jetski I will need to tow if I get an xD. Jetski 350 + trailer 200 + some gas cans= ~600lbs.

I know it isn't rated, but I wondered if anyone was doing it.

No, probably not recommended as indicated in the owners manual, but interestingly enough, if you take a close look under the car, you will see on the the left and right rear inner frame rails, 2 bolt holes on each side ready for a hitch. Weird.

hmm.. do any research for the Toyota Ist? i'm sure that these cars can tow at least a little. 600 sounds fair/safe for a car not made for towing. I have a feeling that Scion says not to tow just to be safe, since most people towing typically have a large boat, camper, etc. and these brakes probably can't handle anything that serious. I see small cars towing tiny loads at least once a month around here..
