Default TPMS light on? will it pass inspection?

i purchased a set of 18" wheels and tires from tirerack. I forgot the Xd had sensors in the wheels. Now my light stays on because i dont have the sensors installed in the new 18" wheels. The sensors are still in my factory wheels/tires. Will it pass inspection with that light on? Or should i put my stock wheels/tires back on for inspection. It costs so much money to swap out the sensors! Any help on this matter.....

even if you swap out the wheels to the factory ones just for the inspection the light wont go off now that it has been tripped, it needs to be reset... But honestly it should not fail inspection due to it. I would bring the manual with you and open it up to the page that shows what that sensor light is for and just tell them its because of the 18's and that it is not a safety concern...
