well, after taking it into the dealer, they determined it was the a/c evaporator. They called in a field tech rep, I guess this and the Yaris have had known issues of this problem. They have a newer version of the evap for these cars and they sent one from California. Got it put in yesterday, smell is gone! They even gave me a rental for the night as well. I do have to take it back in though as my power outlet isn't working now. I'm guessing when they removed the dash to replace this they didn't hook it back up. They did say the evap was covered in mold.
