I will soon be doing a muffler delete as well as purchasing a new exhaust tip, I'm unsure as to where I should start and what I should be looking for. I'm trying to get a round 2-2.5" tip.

Any insight would be much appreciated! :D

 

I chopped off my muffler and bought a new exhaust tip for $30 off ebay. The stock pipe is 1.5" Outer Diameter so you will need adapters, but they are a few bucks at oreily. i did a 1.5" ID to 2" OD and then a 2" ID to 2.5" ID. I spent maybe $10 on the adapters, $30 including shipping and tax on the exhaust tip, and another $10 for a buddy to weld it together, as well as welding on a new hanger. Sounds just as good as the $300+ aftermarket ones. although my tip is a 4", but does not look huge coming out the backside, fits very nicely in the premolded hole in the bumper
