I know they have to limit additions to keep the price down to what they think is salable, but it realy should have custum rims

 

Wow I really love that front bumper! I would so get this over the 5axis lip kit.

 

Really? That's cool. I don't like the rear bumper on the DAMD, and the double brake vents in the front either. My wife said it makes the xD look fat.

As to recycling the color... the RS 1.0 xA was Absolutely Red... the RS 1.0 tC did essentially the same thing.

Honestly... it's quite sexy. I think they over-did the interior paint a bit, but the front end looks mean. I do wish the rear skirts sat a bit lower though.

Now, the question is, can I drive that flashy of a car?

I do like it. I'm glad they didn't include wheels this time around as well! I'm thinking my next Scion needs to be an RS... but that's not for a couple years...

Yeah, thinking real hard about trading in my xA on this, got calls into the dealer now, lol.

 

Oh man...awesome. My scion dealer is getting some. At least they have an option for it on their website. If I can get one, I'll buy it this summer. That looks HOT

 

come to hawaii since it's a private dealership from toyota corp. they get way more then almost all the other dealerships. usually they get around 2 dozen of the RS's.

 

Sweet. Emailed my dealer and they said they can order one for me. Going for an xD test drive this weekend to make up my mind once and for all.

Based on what I've heard about the xD it won't be a hard choice to make : ]

 

if the trd springs are anything like the difference they are on the tC then driving around in the xD RS1 is gonna be a blast, just get a rear sway bar.

 

What does a sway bar do? I'm guessing reduces the amount the car tilts when going around sharper corners.

It's been set for me! This thursday evening, I decided to order the car if there are any left when I go (and test drive goes well). Should be I expect...the dealer didn't say anything about "hurry or you'll miss the last one etc..."

 

The car aren't even in port yet. I put my request for the first one that comes into the port in Portland, lol. They are on their way, my sales lady just came back from Japan and she saw some of them on trucks and they were left hand drive and tagged as Scions, so they're coming soon, can't wait. She said the whole bus load of Scion salepeople yelled, stop the bus, lol.

 

We will let everyone know what the status is when we receive our end of month allocation.

 

yea the rear sway bar stops the back end from flexing so much which stops the back end from wanting to so easily break loose when cornering.

when i test drove an xD a while back the suspension is really soft. stiffen it a bit and i can imagine the xD to be a fun thing to zip around in.

 

I ordered mine tonight (special edition). The guy said dealerships usually only get 2-3 (sometimes one) of the special edition and I was the first to request it at his dealership : ]

I got it stock. The guy talked me out of the security system and VSC lol.

I liked how the stock drove on regular roads. I gunned it and turned around corners sharply and the stock didn't bother me, so I figured it would be fine : ]

Also my dealer gave me free oil changes and car washes for life LOL

 

how'd you get that deal? i only got the first few oil changes free.
