xD's iPod no longer showing up on screen?
2009 xD RS 2.0 with the iPod wiring in the glovebox... absolutely nothing has changed at ALL. When I plug my iPod in, it no longer connects to the main system and shows up on the screen along with FM, AM, and CD. It charges though, so it's got power. I've unplugged, replugged, checked the exterior connections, reset the screen system by pushing in the teeny button, but I'm not sure what else to do? Figured I'd ask first to see if anyone else had this happen before I start screwing around.
Thank you for any insight!!!!
Update: I did screw around a little with it after posting... I just unplugged and replugged and rebooted and restarted... it's now recognizing the iPod, but now, no sound comes out. Radio sounds fine, but switch to iPod, and it's silent.
Help?
Help?
No one's had this happen?
I wiped my iPod clean and restored it to factory settings, thinking maybe it was just a bug in the system. Nothing. Connects, but no sound comes out.
I'm not sure who to go to next. Pioneer maybe? I have my 10,000 oil change coming up... I guess I'll ask Toyota. Hopefully it's something they can fix for me.

UPDATE: Fixed!
I scheduled my 10k free oil change for tonight and asked that they look at it.
Turns out something in the settings of the sound system had changed - I'm sure it all makes sense to you folks, but the way he described what it had changed to to me was like switch the AV mode on a TV from AV1 to AV2. It was switched to AV2. They popped it back over to AV1 and it's back to working fine!!!!
Oddly enough, between the time it was working fine and the time it stopped working, I never touched a thing. All I was doing was unplugging and re-plugging. It stopped recognizing it entirely and giving me an error message, then it wasn't showing up, then it wasn't playing sound. So, it sounds to me like something went wrong and it did it itself.
Whatever - it's fixed! Figured I'd update so if anyone ever has a similar problem, they look in the settings on the car's system.
