Default Yaris hatchback and xD. Suspension parts the same?

I was wonder if the suspension parts on a yaris hatch will fit on a xD. Swing bars and front tie down?

:: sigh :: I was next to positive that the yaris and xd had identical suspension setups, but apparently a few sites post that the xd's suspension is pushed out further than the yaris, meaning that the pieces probably won't swap. I haven't heard anything "official," though... the xd does show to have a wider track.

I have a TRD rear sway on my Yaris LB and I emailed the source about using it on an xD and they said NO at first. Then I wrote back and said I noticed the parts number is the same for both and the replied YES.

Confusing?

Just looked it up: both cars share the same 96.9" wheelbase. Sounds identical....they sure save a lot of money building them that way.

that's what i figured, especially since Toyota has 4-5 cars in different countries that range from 2-4 door yaris, 4 door xd, 4 door ist, etc. etc. all fundamentally the same car. the sites ive seen do specify a wider track width on the xd, though, by an inch or two. wonder if that's just the wheels... i don't understand how they could have "pushed the suspension out a few inches" and still used the same parts.

The spring rate is going to be different becuse of the weight of the car and the lug pattern is differnt too.
