im planning on getting some springs. Either Nf210s or Df210s. Id rather not have negative camber because i have expensive tires. Do i have to have any negative camber when it comes to lowering the xd?And this is regarding to Nf's and Df's. I dont want my inside tire edge to wear down faster. I want them to wear down evenly. Any input would be great..... I saw a civic today,was lowered about two inches, the inside edge of the tires were completely bald, but the rest of the tire had full tread. I don't want that to happen LOL

It's a common misconception that any negative camber will destroy your tires. Not really true... in reality it is a bad Toe setting that will destroy your tires - and yes, often the inside edge.

Negative camber really doesn't have much effect on your tires if it's less than about -3 deg.

Only thing you need to do is get an alignment after you get lowered (usually 1-2 weeks afterward - just in case the springs might settle a little).

That Civic... you know if he got an alignment after lowering? Sounds like a toe problem. When I lowered my tC I shredded the inside edge of my rear tires b/c I didn't get it aligned (on purpose) and the toe setting was WAY out of spec.

ok so toe causes the bad tire wear, yea i've been really confused on this issue. When i lower my car, i want to make sure i do it right the first time and not have bad tire wear. My car is brand new and i dont want any issues with bad tire wear. I planning on getting Df210s, Front drop 1.9 Rear 2.2 or Nf210s front 1.4 rear 1.7

I would personally say go for the NFs, but that's up to you.

But just to be clear, improper camber settings can cause excess tire wear... but they just need to be REALLY far out of spec to do so.

i think im gonna go with the nf's because i really dont need my car to be that low. Im not autocrossing or anything. Its just my daily driver. I just hate that wheel/fender gap. Its so ugly lol

ive had the nf210s now for probably a little more than 10,000 miles, and my tire wear looks to be doing just fine.

thats good to hear, i have not heard anything bad about the tanabe springs

I'm happy with the TRD lowering springs. I still have the stock tires which are crappy and they're not wearing bad. Denver has some tough roads too. I've put 10k on my car and had the springs since mile 500. Tire wear doesn't seem excessive in my setup.
