ok, so im pretty experienced with cars, and i know older vehicles very well. but i have never messed with any suspension. what would be required for me to lower my stock xD? because im confused like hell, ive heard like 30 different things. if somebody can explain what i would need to do, i would be very happy

 

lowering springs...trd struts and shocks...and after a week when everything has settled...an alignment...

 

i know tanabe makes a front strut tower bar, we wouldnt need any form of a rear strut if there is such thing correct?

 

now, ive been told that because i have a new vehicle, i wouldnt need new shocks for a while, i could lower just fine on the stock shocks..

edit: is that true??

 

One thing you might want to take into consideration is that I heard you might need shims in the rear to attain the proper camber alignment.

 

well, the camber is something im going to have to take into account after i get the D lowered.. i guess i will find out then. haha. see above edit on my last post please.
