Default Rubber Plugs

Apparently I never fully checked out what was in my 2008 XD's glovebox. I found a plastic package with two separate rubber plugs or pieces. The package reads: TO PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTOR: Insert these rubber plugs into the holes of the center floor side member extensions.

Does anyone know what those side member extensions are and where they are located? Assuming they were not installed, if I have easy access to such I would like to do this without having to go to the dealership.

They're drain plugs that should go on the under-carriage of the car right before the rear wheels, supposed to keep water from getting up into the frame etc. Not a huge deal but might as well since you're in FL.

Thanks. I'll crawl under today and see if I can find them.

Looks like the pre-delivery inspector was slacking.

Hey thanks guys! The rubber plugs are now installed! Knowing where to look made it possible to locate the openings and insert the plugs in less than a minute...didn't even have to crawl underneath the car!

Mine were not installed, either. Popped them in when I got the car home. Very thorough pre-delivery inspection, right? They never change the radio to "xD" mode either... So most people are driving around in their xDs with the radio set to tC and sounding like crap.
