fine,

stock shocks will last a little while.. though eventually you'll have to change them as they'll wear out faster.

Hey thanks man.
I noticed you got a 408 number?
Is that an LED custom install shop in San Jose?

There used to be a sticky to this guide in this forum http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1096

this is what i used to install my TRD springs, as the yaris and xd have what is basically the same suspension platform.

the rear takes all of 15 seconds to do and the fronts you just follow that diy pretty closely, the only other recommendation id add to that diy is when you remove all the bolts to put a bucket or something to that effect under the hub to hold it up, I didnt have a problem with the xD, but we did manage to displace the axle from the cv joints in my buddy's Honda Fit and that was a painful day putting it back in.

I did my own - springs only will be easy. I did the shocks / struts / springs all at the same time and it took a couple of hours. Not difficult - just a lot of steps.

There is a xD DIY somewhere deep on THIS subforum. I used it and it was VERY good. No questions as a result - it was very detailed. I went ahead and removed the top front cowling parts to get better access to some of the parts. It added an hour to the procedure, but I could have spent twice that time trying to get to those short clearance fasteners. It's been about a year since I did the job and I have had NO after-install issues whatsoever.
