There seems to be a discrepancy between the size of the tires currently mounted on the car (Sincera Brand 205/60R16) and the tire shop online's statement that the 205/60R16 doesn't fit the 2010 Base trim 2WD Hatchback.
The "standard" size seems to be 195/60R16, yet I know the 205/60R16 is the tire size currently mounted on the car.
Of course, money being tight looking for the best deal.
They will work fine. I run new Continental DWS 205/55/16 without issue. 195s limits your selections
This is from another post on this very board
205/60/16 and 205/55/16 are both within about 2% speedometer difference,
and we have plenty of clearance for the minor increase/decrease in overall diameter. 205/55 is the closest to original at a 1.2% difference lower, (59mph instead of 60mph), 205/60 is about 1.8% higher than the original, (61mph instead of 60mph)
Thanks for the response. I am finding selection to be a major factor. For me, it's about price and budgeting this out.If anyone has any experience with budget brands that are of decent quality, please let me know. I still don't understand why an online retailer like Tire Rack (among others I've perused) say that the Sincera 250/AS the tires that are on the car are not suitable.
