Crazy tire width, will it fit?
So I just picked up a set of 17's that already had tires mounted. Size is 245/40R17, Wheels are 17x8 +45. does anyone know if they will fit on the front and rear?
My educated guess is that I can throw them in the rear and can not in the front.

Im gonna imagine that most people are rolling 7.5+ on 18s for width, with i believe the recommended offset being 35-40ish. unless thats already pushing it on an 18x8, i dont see why +45 wouldnt work, 5mm really isnt that much of a difference. you'll just be tucked slightly more.
as for the tires, really not sure, there might be rubbing depending on the springs your on, but the sidewall series is pretty small, so not particularly sure on the tires.
My guess is that it should fit, but you have the 17s, and theyre already mounted, give it a shot?

sweet,
Definitely keep posted, those shoudl be nice and grippy.
Picks'd be awesome as well.
Once i save up the last bit to get ahold of some BBS RS's in 17s im going to be looking for some smaller, grippier tires for the OZ's that are on the car now for the occasional autox and spirited backroad drives..
Im guessing these came off of an SRT4 or a Subie?

Sorry guys I came down with something and have been out of commission since monday.
These are the temp pictures I have for you guys.
after some more driving I have rubbed a little, but after investigation the rear tires are hitting the very edge of the rear body kit, I'm sure that with stock bumpers there would be no rubbing at all... I'll have better pics when I am feeling 100%
