Hub Spacers?

Hub Spacers?
Anyone used/using these hub spacers? I'm putting TC wheels on my xD and was thinking maybe spacing the rear wheels out 10mm. If I need to, should I space the fronts too? Should I just not worry about spacers? Any thoughts?

................Exactly why I'm asking! I don't have the wheels(picking up Friday) so I'm looking for info on how they may fit and if spacers will be on my list. 10mm will bring them closer to stock, so that's why I asked.

I have Randode making up some spacers like he was doing for the xB's, xA's, and tC's...They will be considerably less than the $80 that are currently being sold...He used my xD to mock up a set and they are being made right now...I'm gonna try to throw a 10mm on mine to see if it fits, i'm gonna be cutting it close...I'm currently 18X8 with a 35 offset...He's also making up a 5mm just in case...I wanna be FLUSH

as for the OP's question as to whether or not they are worth the 80$, I'd say probably not. I'd see what YeloSub's guy can come up with. But, Hub spacers are a much better way to space than wheel spacers, no question.

Randy @ randode.com has finished making up the prototype spacer shims and THEY FIT...See this thread https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...=1#post3324059 for a full write on the install...

I was running 18X8 (35 offset) on the TRD springs and then we threw on the 10mm spacer shims bringing me to a 25 offset and I still did not rub...With stock 17 tC's, you will have no probs running the 13mm one...Plus your rims won't look so sunk in

Hello. I have the stock tc rims/wheels waiting to be placed into my xD. Could someone please confirm if the 10mm or 13mm hub spacers will have no rubbing or other issues? I'd want them flush, not sticking out. Which one would be better? Do I need to have the rears only? Or do I need fronts and rears? Thank you.

You will be able to run 13mm spacers without any problem...The stock tC rims are 45 offset, if you throw a 13mm spacer on that will bring you to a 32 offset...With that tC rim you should be running a 215/45/17 tire...Should not matter what spring your dropped on.
I was running my 18X8's with 35offset and 10mm spacers (making them a 25 offset) and I did not rub with a drop on TRD's and 225/40/18's...When I went to the Tanabe's, a much lower spring I did rub but remember I was running 18X8, 225 width tire, and 25 offset...
Right now im back at a 35offset on 18X8 with tanabe drop and only rub occassionally on big bumps...
Hope this helps

One more thing I forgot to mention...For the fronts, I would only recommend running a 5mm spacer...The spacer goes behind the rim and over the studs...The reason I say only go with a 5mm is because I feel thats the only way to do it safely where you can still get enough turns on the lug to torque them down safely...Anything bigger than a 5mm and you will have to switch out to longer studs...I ran a 5mm spacer on the fronts of my old xB for 50,000 miles without any problems...
