Default Please help - Wheel Question

I am looking to buy 16" steel rims and wheels for my 2008 XD, I only have the upgraded factory rims that are 18".
Does anyone know if 2005 TC rims will fit a 2008 XD? They are both 16"
The 2005 TC rims wheel bolt pattern is 5x100 and the center bore is 54.1mm

When I called the dealer they said that the rims I would buy for the XD would use 195/60/16 tires, but the rims listed above form the TC have 205/55/16. A problem, not sure.

Please advise if you can.

Thanks, John

I'm guessing your referring to the stock wheels of a Spec tC which are 16". The regular tC has stock 17". The 16" steelies will fit your car, but the tire size 205/55R16 is a much smaller tire than what the xD recommends. This will cause your speedometer and odometer to read inaccurately. I suggest you swap out the 205's for the 195's. Also, the 195's will give you better traction if you are going to be using them in snowy conditions.

Where do you live? It woul be awesome if you lived in my area (which is doubtful) since I'm trying to get rid of my stock tires+steelies.
