Discount tire. I've used them for years. Every time I shop around, and I do so diligently, I end up right back at Discount.
Falken Ziex 512 and BFG Traction T/A seem to be faves for the box... I've been eyeing a set of Falkens for some time, but have been too cheap to spring for 'em... If you just want something that works, go with whatever they recommend at least one step up from the bottom...
Go with 185/65R15 rather than the stock 185/60R15 for better price and selection...

Go to Tirerack.com.
You can type in your tire size, and see everything available from cheapo to mondo-sticky. Each tire has a review and rating section to see what others have said about the model, on a wide variety of cars. You can either order online or call their 800 number. Their salespeople are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and their prices are VERY good - you'll come out way ahead even after paying shipping. They've got several warehouses around the country, so you seldom have to wait more than a day or two for delivery. I've ordered maybe 20 sets of tires from them over the years, and don't have a single complaint.
