Default Air bag compressor wiring question

I was thinking about using two of the empty slots in my distribution block to power 2 air zenith compresors. it is 0ag from the battery to the distribution block then there are 4 4ag leads going to 4 amps. I am just worried that that all would be to much draw on the 0ag wire and that i will prolly get noise through the speakers when the compressors kick on. Any advise would be great. Thanks

I seriously doubt you could draw more current thru 0awg than it can handle even if you hooked up 2 other whole cars thru it...however your noise considerations are possible but I think not likely. I suggest hook it up at the distro block and see. You can always rewire if there are issues.

i want a AZ but are cars just can handle that kinda current draw unless you have a alternator upgrade putting out some serious amperage, i was told that each AZ draws close to 80 amps so two would be 160a plus your amps and lighting and that is one huge draw on the system

The draw on a car might indeed be an issue. He asked about the wire size. The wire is certainly up to the task. The battery and the alternator ....that might be a different story indeed.

I should be good with that, optima battery and h/o alternator on the way. Thanks for the input.
