Default Free ROTA Slips 16x7 but +45 offset!!!!

Got a free set from a friend about a year ago. Took them off of his 99 Civic. Basically my question is: Will I be able to run a +45 offset on an XB??? Isn't that kinda high?? I know OTG has a 10mm spacer for the rear so that shouldn't be an issue but what about the fronts??? Will everything clear?? Any help would be appreciated.

I used to have set of 18s with a +45 offset. The tires where 225/40/18. They would rub at close to full lock. It wasn't too bad.

front no problem...but the rear tires will not move...tried that on rota 16 x 7 with same offset a few years ago at the rim/tire dealer (who thought it would not be a problem until it was ALL installed on my car).

They may work but you will need to trim the rear trailing arm supports ( the round pipe that sticks thru the trailing arm ). You can trim down to the weld & a little ( almost 7/16 - 1/2" ).
A 40 should be a bolt on.

But it will work if I run the OTG 10mm spacers in the rear correct??

Did I read the above post right??? The front will work with a +45 offset??

The front should be good to go & if you grind the trailing arm the rear the 45s should also. If you want to buy the 10s for the rear that should work too......

5mm even easier. There's way more than 5mm you can remove from the trailing arm if you don't want to buy spacers.

yeah, 5mm spacers are way easier than grinding stuff down. i think i ran 5mm spacers on all four wheels and hardly ever rubbed.
