Default upside down rear springs (Tein S-tech)

the past few weeks i have noticed a strange clunking sound when going over bumps or uneven roads coming from the rear end. i looked over it all a few times, even took the springs and shocks off, and checked for any cracks in the welds on the entire rear suspension components. i found a post yesterday that showed how his Tein S tech springs were in upside down....i went and looked at mine and to my surprise mine are upside down and the have been installed like that for 4 or 5 months now....

my question....anyone think that there will be any ill effects after i flip them over so they are correctly installed? i plan on doing it tomorrow after work along with urethene front sway bushings...

Check where the exhaust pipe meets the rear axle. If you see marks like it's been hitting, that's most likely your problem.

well, i flipped the springs and added the front endlinks. i am not sure if i totally fixed the rear end noise as i still hear it a little when going over bumps etc...it is a lot less noticable but it is still bugging the crap out of me. the front feels a lot more in tune with the car though, but i need more driving time to fully determine how it really feels. well, it is about to be stored in the garage for a long time while i am out of the country so i guess i will have to just put more time into it after returning. i will be doing a rear sway at the very least and i am not sure if i want to put on a new front sway or not....only time will tell...
