Default You thought you had a bad day.....

Well lucky me. On Saturday i broke my foot . now i get wear a cast for 2 months and i was told since it is my right foot i am not legaly aloud to drive.

And ya i tried but the cast is to big and hits the brake and gas at the same time.

this sucks so bad. Al i get to do look at my xb for the next 2 months .

Up here in Canada if you get cought driving with a cast on your right foot you recive a couple tickets mainly dangerous driving or if you really lucky the cop can give you a careless driving ticket and you recive a automatic suspension of your drivers licience.

Well thats my big news. I hope every one else weekend was better.

I broke my leg and my foot, and I wasn't allowed to drive for three months. On top of that, my car was four and a half hours away at college.

My sympathies. Don't try to over-exert yourself. It'll suck at times, but the more you try and walk or do anything like that, the worse your recovery's going to be.

You should check into a handicap setup for a hand throttle lever on the steering wheel - hope you have an automatic? They can also setup a brake the same way. You could alway left foot brake but that takes some practice if you have a standard you may be out of luck there.

wow....that's usually my line when someone is haveing a bad day. i always say "it could be worse. you coulda broke your foot this morning. then your day would really suck." you, my friend are having much more than a bad day.

on the flip side.... keep focusing on how much help you are getting from your friends. that goodwill from them, plus their actual help should help keep your spirits up. i hope everything works out for ya.
