So i get my HD RSBs with kumho ecstas , all brand new, and they look awesome, balance out and everything is kosher till i put them on.

I get major shaking from 50 to 80 and at low speeds i feel a up and down movement on the front. At first i thought it was my cheap spacers so I got the onetongarage spacer that were machined much better but it still does the same thing. Could it be that they are not hub centric? I have rebalanced the wheels twice already.

I also rotated the tires to see if i got a bad tire...the same thing happens

My brother who is a VW tech said it might be a warped axel or a bad pilot bearing in the front, although this never happened at such a degree with the stock wheels and tires.

I have checked other posts but i have done everything that was said to alleviate the problem, but the issue continues. Are there any others having issues with axles or pilot bearings?

This has been a nightmare, please tell me there is hope before I put on my stock wheels forever

 

If you aren't using hubcentric rings get some. You can't use only the lugs to make the wheels run true.
Otherwise the assemblies are not balanced right. I've gotten new wheels before but the place that balanced them had a F'd up machine that was not calibrated right.

 

Try rotating the tires from front to back, or side to side if possible. If you have already done this and you still have a shake in the front above 50 MPH then yeah, you may nee hub centric rings. The other thing to do is if you have a set of stock wheels or have access to a pair run them on the front end, see what the end result is.

See if you cant find the innor bore on the wheel. I have an extra set of rings here that where shipped with a set of wheels that i no longer need. I can send them to you if they match.
