front tire wear
When I had my latest set of tires put on they felt nice and smooth but after a couple thousand miles they make a slight roaring sound when making slow turns, I really don't like to just assume that it's an alignment problem and go pay $100 or so without really knowing that is what is causing the problem. The front tires are very slightly feathering on the outside and I'm sure that is what I'm hearing when turning. I do rotate my tires regularly. Could it be something as simple as they aren't balanced properly or is that not likely?

Your alignment geometry might be off. Your tow could be in or a variety/combination of other alignment points like camber or caster. improperly balanced wheels will give you vibrations. Get an alignment, they will give you a p off and recommend what you need if anything at all. Might have a loose tie rod or just an adjustment which would be part of the alignment cost. Should be able to get one from $60 -$90.
