Default Strut brace bar installation?

how in the world is one supposed to install a strut brace on an XB? the nuts are 12mm (which is a small wrench with little leverage), and it's impossible to get a socket wrench in there due to the space issue. the only way i can figure is to remove all of the plastic trim,...am I nuts?, or am I just missing something...

Its a tight fit for the xa. I used box wrenches to install mines.

you should remove the entire wiper cowl , including wiper motor and what have you , after doing it a few times it only takes like 20 minutes to remove it all.

I just used a regular Craftsman box wrench. You only get about an 1/8th of a turn, then gotta flip the wrench to get another, then repeat...... It also helps to jack up the front and get some pressure off the struts.
