yea last time i logged on there wasn't anything for a stock replacement and was a mixtue of like a toyota echo and some car in AUS.

Just want a nice replacement for the OEM ones so i can go back to a stock ride height and not get the crappy bouncyness of OEM

There have been a few discussions lately about the Monroe shocks for a stock 1st Gen xB. Here are a couple of links that should get you going. Thanks

Yes, Monroe now carries a direct replacement strut and shock for the xB/xA. I guess all us owners sending them emails on the subject lit a fire under them to cover these vehicles. I'm looking forward to when I need front struts so the front will be as soft as the rear.

I got the ones for my lowered xb, they were about 40$ cheaper then the direct replacements. Might just have to wait till kragen has a sale

Sensatracs and H-Techs and you'll be set.

I have the sensatracs and h-techs on my box. Night and day difference. However, they are shocks for the echo, not the xB. Does anyone have the new sensatracs for the xB? I'm curious as to how they differ from the echo struts.

From what I've heard they ride the same but do not lower the front by 1/2" like the Echo ones do. Monroe xB #72245s are one of my next additions to my box.

Depends on what kind of ride quality you want.
