Default Tire help

I have a 17 inch rims with 205/40/17 Falken tires, I am buying new tires does any one know if I get 215/40/17 BF Goodrich G-Force tires instead of 205/40/17 will it rub or my 04’ XB is safe?

A 215.40.17 should fit ok on your car.

... Just to make sure, check the offset of your wheels, if it is 40mm or less you should be ok. If it is 40mm or more you might rub a little at full lock when turning right and left.

In the case that it is more than a 40mm offset look at the 205.45.17 tire size instead.
