Actually my bf put something similiar in his eclipse and he is noticing he is getting much more mpg than before. A bottle/can/jug of water, some metal plates, put electricity through it and you get oxygen(?) and hydrogen. He runs a tube from the bottle/can/jug of water to his intake and there ya go! I'm actually in the process of getting him to design one for me and my xD ;)
Don't quote me on this, I think thats the jist of the process!

Theres a youtube video on this page from the NEWS that the US Military is doing this to some of their humvees....maybe there is more than meets the.........eye?
I've done a bit of research on this to be honest with you, and from what I can tell...it DOES work. Plus, for $150 or so for the parts and to buld it, you can't go wrong, can you?

To each their own.
The mileage competitions among engineering students frequently involve "six-cycle engines", in which water is injected into a standard internal combustion motor after the "exhaust" stroke.
The water goes to steam, expanding, and extracting more power from the motor, since that heat is converted into usable energy.
Believe me, it takes an engineer to get it right. I wouldn't dream of attempting this yourself. HYDROLOCK IS DEADLY TO MOTORS.
If you want to get 50% better gas mileage with "one easy device," get one of these...
