OH CRAP! I got so excited I ran out side and shoved the garden hose in my tank and went full blast.......now my car won't start.

Wait a second....if I push it I will get like 1,000,000,00 miles per gallon!

It's Browns gas, basically. Hydrogen from water and all that.

The concern is what does it do to engines in the long term? But theoretically, it's legit.

Actually my bf put something similiar in his eclipse and he is noticing he is getting much more mpg than before. A bottle/can/jug of water, some metal plates, put electricity through it and you get oxygen(?) and hydrogen. He runs a tube from the bottle/can/jug of water to his intake and there ya go! I'm actually in the process of getting him to design one for me and my xD ;)

Don't quote me on this, I think thats the jist of the process!

your xd already saves a lot of gas and yet you want to try to get more out of it without knowing what damages it'll cost in the future? psh just like the ppl that drive prius and still put cheap gas in their car.

Do you mean cheap gas as in 87 octane or using off brand gas stations with sketchy additives?

Most Prius drivers around me tend to floor it anyways from the lights and stop signs. You're only saving gas if you stay in electric mode haha

Check this one out too

http://www.squidoo.com/Water-For-Gas-Converter

Theres a youtube video on this page from the NEWS that the US Military is doing this to some of their humvees....maybe there is more than meets the.........eye?

I've done a bit of research on this to be honest with you, and from what I can tell...it DOES work. Plus, for $150 or so for the parts and to buld it, you can't go wrong, can you?

Actually there are other owners out there running their own versions of this with no reported problems. He's testing it out in his own car for the past month or so and so far he hasn't had problems with it. Neither of us would put something in my car that could potentially harm the mechanics. As far as cheap gas, are you referring to 87 or cheap gas stations? I use 87 from Shell only because I don't need to get a different grade and I prefer Shell since there are more around me.

To each their own.

The mileage competitions among engineering students frequently involve "six-cycle engines", in which water is injected into a standard internal combustion motor after the "exhaust" stroke.

The water goes to steam, expanding, and extracting more power from the motor, since that heat is converted into usable energy.

Believe me, it takes an engineer to get it right. I wouldn't dream of attempting this yourself. HYDROLOCK IS DEADLY TO MOTORS.

If you want to get 50% better gas mileage with "one easy device," get one of these...
