Default parking lights and tail lights = bad fuse?

so today i realized that on my way to the mall, my fog lights were working, and on the way back i somehow noticed that they werent working... they are aftermarket fogs hooked up and wired to my parking lights... they have been in great working order for over a year now. but i also noticed after very close examination, that the parking lights and the tail lights were not working either... so when i turn my car to the parking light mode instead of headlights mode, nothing comes on. but they all work when i activate my alarm. would this be a fuse? it was dark and havent had a chance to check my fuses yet.. but wanted to get a general opinion as to what it could be. headlights work fine, brake lights work fine, but everything to do with that mode of lights in "parking" (1 click), nothing seems to want to come on at all. what do you guys think?

my first guess would be a bad fuse or power connection. when you use your alarm, you are passing power to it from a different source. at least you know your lights still work.

check your fuses and swap them out with a fuse that works. im only saying this because i had a fuse that looked ok but was broken. once i replaced it with another, everything was back to normal.

if its not the fuse, track back you power supply wires to make sure that all the connections are good.

good luck

could be a bad fuse or a bad wire in the harness?
