How hard is it to switch from the new 08's to the 05-07's? Is it plug and play or is there some wiring involved? Is there a guide anywhere?

I dont like the look of the 08 lights i like the 05-07s alot better plus i can fit angel eyes with the 05-07's too!

Passenger side is cracked that the main reason im trying to switch them out!

i believe it fits right on. are you going to sell the one thats not cracked?

 

all you need to do is adapt the harness for the low beam to accept the proper 9006 bulb. you can either buy pair of adaptors, or cut and splice on the right harness for it.

 

You'll need a different harness for the main lights. Every other bulb plugs right in; parking, blinker, daytime, highs...

 

Because many people do not like the 08 headlights, or dont like them as much as the earlier models. The projectors look is ok... but having to put the big bubble in them kind of ruined it for many.

 

Hey I did the exact opposite switch and it was a piece of cake, I already had an HID kit on the car and just switched bulbs, with standard bulbs like everyone else said either splice or buy an adapter.

Did I mention I have a set of headlights off my 06 just sitting there in storage...hmmm

 

How much for the pair i might have a set already buy if you give me a better deal we might be able to work something out!

I've done this. The headlights fit no problem, only bulb that is different is the lowbeam.

There are no H11 to 9006 adapters, so you will have to cut the H11's off and splice the 9006's on there. It's really easy, make sure you solder and shrink tube though.
