Default Defrost on but air still blows through vents?

Like the title says is this normal? When I turn the **** all the way to the right to the windshield defrost, the two vents near the doors still blow air .

dunno if this is why but... i aim them at the driver and passenger windows.. so when its real fogged up in the car, to the point that the windows are fogging.. those vents blow on the window and clears it up.

that only happens on those that have extra side vents for the side windows. check your dash, we only have a vent for the windshield and none for the side.

if they closed the two furthest we couldnt defrost the side windows..

i thought it was set cause when windows are frosted, it usually indicates that the inside is cold too. Thus, warming the driver as well

it is normal. you are supposed to point them towards the side windows so they blow warm air on them to defrost and defog them. the tc has fixed side vents that do this instead of using the side adjustible vents.

I almost got on here and asked the same question last week, so now I don't feel so bad that I was the only one who thought it was odd!
