Default air tanks

well this really isn't for the suspension its actually for my air horns but i thought this probably would be the best place to post this. i am trying to use 3 small tanks instead of using 1 big tank for my air horns.. im trying to figure out what the best way to hook up the tanks together is.

this is the first way i was thinking of doing it

but then i started to think about it more and i thought of this way

is there any ups or downs to either way? is one better than the other? or is there another way of doing it?

Why not run everything on the top bus line instead of having the compressor go through tank one befre getting to the feed bus for the other two tanks? That seems like the easiest way to do things. Also, if you have a leak in one tank, you can just cap it and still use the other two. Your current setup Won't allow that.

what size tanks are you using? what compressor? i would run just the one tank or get more compressors if your set on using multiple tanks, that will take forever to fill and be harder on the compressor

You can hook the tanks up any way that you want. It's not gonna matter, as long as they are connected.

He said he was using small tanks, If the amount is under 6 gallon, 1 air compressor would work fine, depending on the type/output. But if you hook it up in different way, you can always use the tanks if something happens you have a leak. Just write it out on paper, and decide.

Keeping all the tanks in parallel as in your first drawing is the best. It's easier on the system for equalization purposes. But in all reality, whatever's easier to install. You'll use less material doing it the first way.
