Tires for 962s ?
Hey guys, I know it's another topic on tires but I tried searching and every post I read it's just ppl saying what they have and no real explanation. i mean it's easy to say just get that
Anyway my frist question is i am in Canada and I have winter tires. What would b a difference between summer tires and all season tires ? I just don't know which to get, are summer tires bad in rain ? what should I base my decission on ? I mean good tires are expensive here, around $150-300 per tire, crazy eh ?
Second what size to get for 17'' XXR 962s ? They'r 17x7 with 42 offset I believe.
Third, what would u recommend ? I don't need the high end tires, but something good, I see a lot of ppl recommend Kumho, Falken and Toyo.
And last is there a website for comparison between given tires ? So I can see how they stack up against eachother ?
I'm spendin around $600-1k for a set so I wanna know what I'm ridin and spendin my money on.
TY, sorry for the long read.

As for the size, I'd go with either a 195/40/17 or a 205/40/17.
I don't know if they salt up there, but I wouldn't run my wheels during the winter. Doesn't matter what tires are on there. I keep my steelies for winter duty. Salt will kill lips (but I know that they don't often salt up North b/c it attracts wildlife).
