will these fit? suggestions?
hey all -- noob at wheel fitments, been trying to learn a lot from reading the forums.
so i need new wheels, and i'm thinking about some 6UL wheels with these specs:
15x8 +36 12.1 lbs, 1.125" lip 5.875" backside setting
OR
15x9 +36 12.7 lbs, 1.75" lip 6.375" backside setting
i'm on tein h-techs, no spacers, no camber, no fender-rolling. could i do the 15x9 safely without rubbing or cambering? or is the 15x8 a better bet and get spacers?
also what tires would go with these wheels to avoid rubbing?
any help would be awesome!

i'd really like to know if the 15x8's will work without rubbing on the inside ...

What year xB do you have? This one time I test fitted a set of 15x8 +35 Rota RB wheels on my '06, but in the rear suspension beam, there is a little notch that sticks out. That prevented the wheel from being installed properly. The tire would hit against the notch. Some xBs don't seem to have that notch, but other xBs do. But yeah. Seems like a little bit of grinding would solve that. I don't think you'll be able to fit a 9" 6UL without spacers, so definitely a 15x8 would be ideal.
The 949 wheels are stupid awesome. I've been wanting to get a set for the Miata.
