Default Help choose Tires

I have dropped my scion xa 2006 with tanabe DF210 springs. I want to get some wheels and tires but i do not know which ones to get.
I do not want to loose a confy ride and stability, and i do not want to reduce my MPG.

ANy ideas?

thx

I would go with a set of lightweight 15s with a good aggressive offset. As long as the wheel weight is roughly the same, you won't see much change on the mpg.

Something in a 15x7 / 7.5 / 8 and with a +25 offset & some 205/55-15 or 225/50-15 tires is a good combo. That or you can do 16x7 / 7.5 / 8 and with a +25 offset & 205/50-16 or 225/45-16 tires. (^_^ )

I was checking tireRack for wheels and i coulndt find any 16x7 / 7.5 / 8 with offset of 25mm...i was able to find +35mm...would that make a big difference?

^ You have to give them a call to get wheels in those offsets. Tire Rack will only list what can be put on your car & it will be something with an extremely conservative fit. It annoys me. Do a search for a 1989 BMW 325 & see what you come up with.

look on ebay and get the XXR 501, they are a 15x8 on a 10 offset and run a 195/50/15 tire you could get the rims and tires complete for around $700

you could also look at the XXR 002, they are a 15x8 on a 0 offset and run the same size tires. those look the best on the box, i believe.

The 0 offset will rub, even on an xA. He's on DF210s.
