Wheel Damage
When I had new tires installed, installer said 2 of my rims were out of round. He could get them to zero out in balance, but said I might notice the ride was bumpy. I know 35 series tires are vulnerable, and I see many getting rims repaired, but is this really that common? I have Konig 18's and have felt some hellish potholes but never really buried the front end badly. Rims not dented, but out of round. This was just a visual evaluation, no one used a micrometer to measure runout. Do some wheels come "stock" out of round? I do not wan't to buy new wheels, I can't afford it now. Please share your thoughts.
Any wheel that would come "Stock" out of round is rim from a cheap company. I don't really think too highly of Konig, but I haven't heard a lot of complaint's about them. Specifically what set of Konig's are they? What model?
