Default Just Rotated my Steelies and....

The Goodyears the dealer gave me suck! I have 14.4k miles on them, and the front tires were good enough to be called racing slicks. Goodyear is a very good company, but something just does not seem right at all about that. For the that still have their steelies and have rotated them, are yours just as bad? I have heard that not everyone got Goodyears as well, so if you have the same prob, please state which tires you have on yours plus what model you drive.

Yep, mine suck... only 23k miles on them and two of them are slicks already. I had to replace the other two because they kept loosing air - had to fill them up daily until I finally got replacements. Buy yourself some rims and be done with it

granted the oem tires aren't the greatest... but i've had mine since oct. '03... rotated every 5K... nearing 20K miles... and the tread still looks pretty good... almost new looking...

i did get new rims in july, but used the oem tires...

I've had mine for 8 months, almost 15k miles, and treads were gone. Grantd I may have smoked them once or twice

if you tires are losing air there is a reason other than the tire construction, a hole, bad stem, cracked rim.

keep the tires rotated, proper air, keep the car aligned. tires should wear well.

If your tire is worn evenly after 15k-20k then they would be covered under the mileage warranty from a goodyear dealer
