which tire pressure (psi) do i use.
the one on the side of the car 32 front 29 rear
or the ones in the manual.........38 front 32 rear...
they are way off from each other..
and just wondering which one i should use..
any feed back that could save my life and my brothers..

Are those two different pressure listings for the same size tire? The 2005 Tire Guide - the tire industries "Bible" has not arrived yet so I can't check it for you, however, it's very unusual for the manufacturer to publish two different PSI's since these numbers must be approved by the D.O.T.

 

yea there are two different numbers given...

1. the sticker on the driver side door panel gives 32 psi front 29 psi rear

2. the scion tc manual under tire maintanence gives 38 psi front 32 psi rear...


im at 32 front 29 rear...

i wouldnt wanna over inflate!.. and the one on the sticker makes sense anyway
because you loose about 1 psi per month
and ive had the tC for aboutr 6 months normal driving conditions
and i was at about 27-28 psi front off my readings...
so i went with the sticker...

any opinions?

 

just do 30 front 30 rear call it a day!
