Hey guys, i recently fcuked up my engine due to negligence. I wasn't keeping track of my oil and I was pushing my car (megan headers, megan s-pipe, megan axleback exhaust) and started hearing tapping sounds. Rod knockk.

Engine sounds really bad cuz I drove it even after hearing the sounds and got worse. Car is still running but in need of repair.

I wanna see if anyone knows of any salvaged tC's that got hit from the rear cuz I'm going to need a new motor. I'm a college student and working 1 job so it will take a while to save up. I have a 2006 scion tC in So Cal.

Look in a phone book or jump on line its your best bet or even check craigslist people sell these engines all the time

 

is ur block still in tact? i have a set of OEM piston that has 0 miles on them (bought it for back-up) but it sounds like u need it more than i do now....

 

Check craigslist. I had found a motor and clutch for 1200 installed.
